This is the one I use, with a windshield mount. Looxcie
Now this one has great potential as it's very flexible and can be used in a variety of situations.
Just told my wife that there is no need to buy a stand-alone back-up camera system for the truck and trailer. We will just buy this one and she can wear it while standing at the back of the truck and directing me for hook-ups. All she has to do is stare at the ball/hitch and I can view it on my phone as I'm backing up.
When it comes time to back into a campsite she can stand on the rear bumper of the TT, steady herself by holding onto the spare tire, and just look straight ahead. No more flailing of arms, missed hand signals, yelling etc.
She doesn't seem as enthused about this prospect as I am for some reason.
I've been using this model for about a week. For less than $28.00, it works great.
Once it's set up, you just forget it. Powers up and starts recording when car starts; and saves file and powers off when car is turned off. File size is selectable as 2, 5, and 15 minutes (if my memory is correct). When Sd card is full, it will overwrite the oldest file.
