We did a 10k mile trip with an 18 ft trailer back in 1979. That convinced me I'd rather travel than work, so have many trips since. Will always have fond memories of that one, however. Hit 25 states, averaged 10 mpg and $1 per gallon...when we could find it (oil embargo led to rationing).
We are also on a 10,000 mile trip. We are from Sacramento and currently in Iowa and tomorrow should be in Minneapolis. Eventually going to Chicago, Ohio, D.C., Pennsylvania, N.Y, Boston, Maine, Quebec City, Montreal then I will meet a friend in Ottawa who is flying there from California to meet his family. Next is Toronto, across Canada to Vancouver, Seattle then down to catch the National Forests. We are very excited. PM me if you like.

Off we go on our first real travel day tomorrow. Truck has been thoroughly checked & given clean bill of health. All the little trailer maintenance issues have been dealt with.
