It is a one lane bridge. They have you wait for a green light, then you can go. I saw Motorhomes and 5th wheels on Hwy. 140 heading for Yosemite. It should be no problem for you to drive on. I have driven across it at least 10 times.

The one way bridges are west of Indian Flat coming in from 120, you would be on the correct side.
It's the approach to the bridge's (2 of them) that could be problematic.

I will be at Indian Flat May 7-11. I'd love to meet up with you at the CG.
I have a 22'class C towing a Honda CRV. Will I be ok on 140?

I have a 22'class C towing a Honda CRV. Will I be ok on 140? Yes, you will be fine. They have a restriction of a combined length of forty five feet. You are well under that. It has been my experience that they are overly cautious. I can turn circles around a forty two foot motor home and they are allowed over the bridge. I contacted the rv park through email and they said no one is having a problem. I am concerned about having to go the other way and climb over six thousand feet in elevation and waste fuel that is a finite resource. We will see you there. We have a silver chev dually truck and an alpenlite fifthwheel and you will see us walking our Siamese cat on a leash. She is the cat with the attitude.

Bob in Oakland, Calif. We have been without internet but now would like to give a quick update. We drove on and went across the two temporary bridges with our combined 51 foot lenght. We could have had a sixty five foot overall lenghth and been ok. It was a real non issue. We also saw huge tractor trailer fuel trucks, large tandem axle prevost tour buses crossing. I have no idea where the 45 foot rule came from.

Just got back from Yosemite.
We are 35' plus 20' Toad and 4' tow bar. Went across no problem.
Also, I5 is fresh paved from LA to 41. Boring but smooth.
