Good, I had trouble most of the weekend. I'm glad it just wasn't me.

I'm sure the Company will just love me for this.

& maybe it's not good luck to say this, but I use Firefox, which has AdBloc Plus for an add on.

I don't see ads and I don't seem to have the problems so many of you are talking about.

Of course, I also go in through Woodalls or one of the even smaller, less traffiqued portals, which don't have that weirdo mixed format of some stuff entered on the horizontal and others on the vertical the way rv.net does.

Just a thought.

& I, I took the road less travelled by.

I was on the road all weekend, so I was not on as much as I would be, otherwise. I do know that the RV.Net portal had some serious down time. I understand that the other portals were affected, also. For me, Trailer Life was always working, so I didn't experience the problems other did.

As far as ads, i don't think "the company" has any problems with ad blockers, etc. When the Kontera ads were started, administration even published a way to block the. Also, I have posted how to block the ads using the computer's hosts file.

The Lurker pop-up should be a non-issues. If a member is logged in, it will not display. If a member never logs in, but leaves the Open Road Forum cookies, they should see the pop-up only once.

It will display if (for example) you're logged onto Woodall's, and the link posted points back to another link from RV.net.

At least that's been my experience. It'd be nice if one log-in registered everywhere, but I don't see how that could work.

Unless you are deleting the cookies, the Lurker pop-up should appear no more than once per portal, logged in or not. Before responded to this post, I opened the Woodall's portal through which I'm not logged in. It has been open for almost 5 minutes and no pop-up. That is the way it is suppose to work.

Yes, I do delete cookies on a regular basis. But I have cookies from several sites "protected."
