We are thinking of staying in West Wendover. There appears to be a casino, Wendover Nugget, that has a campground. RVParkReviews lists it but the reviews do little to shed light as to whether the campground is as it appears to be. I google mapped it and it shows a rather large campground. A call to the casino indicated their CG is only 16 spaces.

. Anyone pass through there lately that can shed some light on what's going on. We are looking to pass through there in October and would like to take the coach out on the salt flats...

If you look in the lower left hand of the Google Earth screen, there usually is a date of the image. Sometimes the date is from 10 years ago. Things can change in that span of time. Just say'n...

Dennis,

RV Park reviews has the Wendover KOA in the wrong map location, they have it in the Wendover Nugget location. It is really about 1.5 miles west of the Wendover Nugget park.
