Would appreciate any suggestions on places to eat or buy fresh seafood on the NC Outer Banks. Will be there next week at the Cape Hatteras KOA.

I think the Fisherman's Wharf in Wanchese has the best seafood, the view is very good and the prices are very reasonable. Lone Cedar in Nags Head is also good but more pricey.

Agreed. Nags Head has higher prices on many things. Fisherman's Wharf is nice.

Awful Arthurs was very good and affordable. I think it was about mile post 7. We were there a few weeks ago.

Basnight's Lone Cedar Cafe in Nags Head has a good reputation.

If you want to eat good seafood and not have all the frills eat at TLs going into Maneto. Great home cooking and lots of specials. You won't leave hungry. I ate there two or three times a week for 10 years and never got a bad meal. Where the locals eat..

Howard's in Ocracoke is good:

And we also LOVE the Kill Devil Grill:

Kill Devil looks like a dump - but it is quite possibly the best overall restaurant we've eaten in. Food is incredible!

go the the dock in hatteras; look for risky business and get the seasoned shrimp.

or go to Pop's up the road, northbound side, ex. fried oysters (dive bar)

Post a review of that CG if you don't mind. Thinking about going there, but have been reading mixed reviews.
