Our first trip to Jordan Lake this year. Looks to be very warm weather, hopefully the kids can enjoy the water. Love the sites there, we'll be in loop b, spot 23. 107 feet back from the road. These sites are so private and shaded. Bring on the lounge chairs and campfire! (if it's not too hot at night). It's about 5 minutes from where we store our trailer.

ok so, when the wife got home today she asked if I wanted to camping at Jordan Lake, I could not refuse so starting to get some things together. Guess I will find out how things are at the Lake anyhow.
That's awesome. We were at Falls Lake - Holly Point last weekend and had a blast. You should have much better weather this weekend, and if Jordan is anything like Holly Point, they had it ready to go!!! Enjoy!
Sounds like fun. We were at poplar point a couple of weeks ago. We store about 5 min from there also. We will be house hunting this weekend so no camping trip for us.
We should set up some sort of Raleigh get together this year at Jordan Lake. I am already organizing a meet up at Poplar point in June for my Raleigh camping meetup group if anyone else is interested in tagging along, let me know and I will publish more details.
if you putting together a group rally, Vista Point has a group RV Site or at least they did 15 years ago when I worked there during the summers. Might be worth checking out.
