If you ever think you might tow a gooseneck of any sort, go for the B&W Turnover Ball and 5th Wheel Companion. Leaves a clean bed when not needed. If you don't want to go whole hog, B&W makes the Patriot, which is basically the Companion, but set up to mount on a universal rail kit. Great products and great company to deal with.

You might want to check out the B&W Patriot. Great 16K hitch and Tweetys has the for $399.00 and free shipping.

As one who buys a product based on it's quality and "not based on the GPS location" of where it might have been made, I found the Curt 24 Q perfect for my application. Had many recommendations by trusted sources and friends. Works great, easy to operate, IMHO hard to high hitch. Several RV friends told me I could not go wrong with Curt! Moves in all directions for easier hookup. Very happy good price point!
My Curt 20k has been trouble free for the last 5 years. I can not answer to where it was made, I to thought in WI but would not be the first time I was wrong.
Look at B & W Patriot, I love mine. I started with a Reese 15K slider, too much clunking noise for me. I would go with Curt before Reese but if you go B&W you won't be disappointed. The Patriot sat right down on the universal rails I already had in the truck. Found that I really didn't need the slider, I never used it. I can make very close to a 90 degree with no problem. Depend on the trailer you have and what kind of front cap.
