Lowes is changing over to the Zep product. Same stuff, more money. Works the same as Red Max

I was in our Lowes yesterday and they had all the ZEP products in, no more RMP on the shelves.

I used Mop-N-Glo on my 2000 Hurricane at it looks great 1 year later. Available everywhere.

Me too.I agree.Maybe Mop N Glo is considered redneck because you can get it at WalMart.

I have been using Red Max for about a year with good results but now the front end is loosing the shine and is starting to turn grey in some areas. The sides look fine. It will not last for ever and it is better to recover sooner then after it start to loose the shine. Little hard to get off before recoating. I did find it at Lowes on the top shelf not very visable.

ZEP is the manufacturer of RED MAX as RED MAX is a private label for Lowes. It's the same product.

Look up the ZEP name you'll find the history.

Go here and punch in your zip code to see if you can find a store that's carrying it in your area.

So which Red Max is it? Our local lowes has "Stain resistant" and "low maintenance."

Is either of these the correct one?
"Red Max Pro low maintenance Step 3" or "Zep Wet Look Floor Finish Step 3".

Thanks for all the input. I bought the Zep & am in the process of putting it on. Will update if I ever get it done. It's close to 100
degrees outside.

Someone wrote "don't get upset if it looks bad after a couple of coats". I was very upset when after 3 coats it still looked horrible but today yes it is beginning to shine. What a difference a few coats make. so if you are just starting have patience, it will "shine" when it's time!!!!!!!!!

Home Depot carries the ZEP products. It worked great on mine.
