Does anyone know if there is a way to have a remote to tune the rv radio from the passenger seat. It is hard to tune the radio in traffic. I need a way to slave the radio so the DW can control the radio from the her seat without removing the radio and moving it over.
Thanks,
Hoot

It would depend on the radio. You could always have one put in that has a remote.

You can't retrofit what you have, but you can buy several inexpensive radios that offer a small remote. I have a high end Pioneer AM/FM/XM/CD/GPS that has a steering wheel remote. It operates the radio and GPS.

My jensen radio is remote capable, but did not come with one. If yours is capable, i think a programmable remote could handle it. Such as harmony from Logitech. Some smartphones, too.

Our rig has a dash radio with a remote too. The problem is that it won't do a thing from the co-pilot's chair. I guess it doesn't "see" the radio at the right angle. Might have to do with placement of the radio. This sounds like something that needs fixing in a new RV. Make the radio accessible from the co-pilot's chair.

I have a remote for my Sony radio ... I'm hiding it from my DW. Looks like I'm the only one who can change the station.
