My buddy and I were talkin' about finding parts for our Fleetwood Utah CP....he mentioned that some RV place bought all of the Fleetwood parts from Fleetwood before they closed. Does anybody know if this is true ???....and if so, who is it ???....we had a mouse chew threw one bunk end curtain and valance....and this past October (2011) storm caused some roof damage, so we're looking for a roof also.....any ideas ???

FWIW, the parts you describe do not have to be Fleetwood specific.

Curtains, valance, well, it may be hard to match, but the roof is generic. Whether it be rubber, TPO or something else, the material is easily sourced elsewhere than Fleetwood.

The particular pattern for the material of the bunk end stuff is made by others and Fleetwood bought a gob of it for the particular model year(s) run.

Try looking at the material manufacturer rather than Fleetwood specific.

Oh yeah, folding trailers.....
Well, the roof material is still generic

Might just check with any RV place and get some estimates.

Might give you an idea which way to handle this... All of the POPUPs are pretty much the same...

Thanks for the replies. I have been making some calls to local dealers....more concerned with finding a new complete roof. Somerset said they will not be producing roofs for at least another year....as far as the Valance, looks like the best thing is to make all new Valances with new fabric so that they all match....and the Bunk End Curtain had some of the netting chewed....found some on Ebay (netting), gotta see if the Wife even wants to bother with that...the damage is not all that noticable there

If you go back and look in the archives, you will find the name of the shop that bought out the stock. I think it is:

My company was the manufacturer of the seating cushions and bunk mattresses in all the Coleman pop up campers for years. We have limited availability of some of more recent fabrics and so on. If you have any questions specificly you can email me at tim@pagefoamcp.com and I can direct you to the person you you would need to talk with within my company.

I did email Beckleys, and as a matter of fact, just got off the phone with them....they have forwarded my request to the appropriate people at Coleman....we'll see what happens from there

They used to advertise that they had Fleetwood parts, but no longer. I am not sure what happened or why. Only conjecture on my part that they don't anymore so as to not confuse the branding of the Somerset line they now carry, being one of less than 20-ish authorized Somerset dealers that I can determine.
All MHO.
