Anyone using a small class B or conversion van as a tow vehicle? If so, do RV parks consider it a toad or do they try to charge you for two RV's? TIA

I have seen it and I think most campgrounds will treat it like a 'toad' unless you are plugging it into hookups and sleeping in it.

If its a Class B it is considered an RV and charged as such, if a conversion van, it is a toad and not charged.

We pull this and so far haven't had a problem. We explain the situation and they are usually accomodating. Obviously a pull through is required. Many times we are just dead heading with it and stay in Casinos, Truck Stops Walmart etc etc.

On the years we tour Mexico we drag our little C down. We need to have it dead empty to get it under 10,000 pounds which is the tow bar and hitch weight rating. It behaves well behind the coach. The down side is Angela has to crawl under the coach to disconnect the driveshaft whenever we tow it and then reconnect it at destination. She's pretty quick at it. 10 minutes or so. I have a bad back (and I'm stickin with that story)
