Surely no one believes that Newell actually creates their own ads. They have an ad company, or a graphic design company do the actual ads. They don't drive the rigs across the country and look for a good spot to photograph. Once the ad is mocked up by the ad company they most likely send an E-mail with the ad to Newell. Someone takes about 10 seconds to say it looks good and it is sent to be published. I seriously doubt they are going to lose a lot of sales because the rig is superimposed on the backround in an ad.

Then why do they have unsold 2013 models on their web site? Cause two people canceled their over $1,500,000 orders. I'm sure someone will jump on those two deals very quickly.

Geez, I'm not complaining. Just pointing out that the ad is poorly made.
It actually looks like the coach is fake. I can't see any seams for the slideouts or even an entry door.
You would think a company like Newell that prides thewmselves on sweating the details would take more pride in their print ads.
Next time I'll limit my comments to the typical RV.Net type (not wanting to pay more than $30 for a nice campground or why would anyone buy an RV and not pay cash for it.)

Why would they even advertise? Anyone with the finances to purchase a Newell already knows of them. My guess is the advertisement is to help FMCA get the magazine published which gives us an opportunity to read about the RV life. Kudos to Newell.

Been in advertising/printing all my life.
Some ad mgr found the picture and it looked good and fit well with the MH. I'm sure they didn't even give it a thought it was not a picture of a US scene. Perhaps the client I.E.Newell should have 'stated' on the purchase order that the b/g scene was to be of one in the US.
BTW: Ad agencies have been dropping backgrounds in since the inception of time way before you'all learned the term 'photo shopped'!

I'm not so sure that is the Swiss Alps! Doesn't look like any place I've ever been in the Alps. Now if you said the Austrian Alps around Oberndorf - maybe....

Don't think I've ever seen a Newell with a drivers side door! And its hard to spot a Newell slide out even when it is slid out!

If you look carefully, you can see this one.
