Went to a boat ralley this weekend and this was my first time pulling the boat with the TC. It pulled fantastic. I would like to have a camera on the back to see what is going on. Here is a picture just before heading home.

I plan on doing the same this season. I have a camera in back, but its still going to take a few trips to feel comfortable towing. You know gasing up, small streets ect. Dont like idea of getting into tight situations and having backing or making a swing problems.. Im sure it will become second nature. If I didnt have camper in way it would be easy. Guess I will be getting pull thru sites.

I found that there was very little difference between towing the boat with the TC and towing without it. I thought with the hitch extension the boat would cut the corners a lot closer. I found out that it was just the opposite. The boat trailer swung wider than it does without the hitch extension. Backing up was easy even without a rear viewing camera. The hardest part is hitching up to the boat trailer.

I was thinking about picking up one of those cheap cameras that mount to the license plate screws. I just want to make sure the boats still there...

I had a chance to fuel up at lunch so I had maybe 15 miles on this tank without the TC and the boat. 331 miles/29.69 gallons = 11.14 MPG. I had the cruise set at 67MPH for Most of the trip there and back. I also installed a set of Stable Loads before I loaded up and left. They are great with the TC loaded but they have to go while the TC is off. Makes me think I am driving a F-550 with no load on it.

Pull a Bullet 21xrd behind my 2011 Chevy Duramax Duelly 4x4 with Arctic Fox 990. I drove 300 mile round trip with the rig this weekend and got average of 11.6 mpg. Backing up to launch is pretty easy. I take the camper off at the campground if I am staying 3 night or more.

Wasn't impressed with any cheap models I saw. Looking at these ones: http://www.rearviewsafety.com/

Here is a camera mount I made that gives me great visibility over the boat.

Been towing the boat behind ours for over 6 years. Thats what made it great. Can't see the boat behind our Okanagan, but never had any issues. swing just a little and see each side then keep on trucking. Its bad when your boat trailer is 102" and you can't see it back there.

Love that bass boat. Plus there build in a great state also.

Where was that go-fast boat event in your picture?
