Hi all,

I just took delivery of a Cedar Creek Fifth Wheel and was wondering how I can tell if the windows installed are in fact Thermal Pane. I did not receive a "window sticker" listing all the equipment and options so I really have no way of telling.

Thermal pane will have two panes with space in between. If not thermal it will be a single pane.

Thermal pane and dual pane although used interchangeably can be very different.. Look it up. Dual pane in a Rv usually means just that. Two panes of glass.Thermal pane in the home means two panes of glass properly seperated and filled with a inert gas. There can be a big difference.

2 Things to look for
1.
Are the windows in your new Cedar Creek crank out or sliders. All dual-pane windwos in RV that I have seen have been sliders.
2
With a slider window open is the glass component thin (about 3/16 inch) or thick (about 1/2 thick)? If thick it should have a thin rubber/silicone seal between to sandwich panes of glass.
