Just bought this to fix up for me and the wife now that the kids are gone. Fleetwood can't help me with and literature on this thing, 1979 is as far back as they go. Does anyone have any thing that may help me? Would be much appreciated. Has a Magic Chef range, and a Dometic A/C on top. Everything else is gone so I'll go electric.

There probably isn't very much in the trailer that's model-specific...is there any particular thing you're trying to figure out?

I used to own a Terry Fan from about that year and mine was a 21 foot trailer. Dinette across the front and bathroom across the rear with Kitchen and main salon in the middle. Don't know as I can help with many of the details about the trailer though since I owned it in the early 80s. It was a kind of a booger to tow and was quite heavy for a small trailer.

Looking for wiring diagrams and stuff like that. I got some loose wires just hanging and not sure where they go. I can track them as I go with the remodel. Was hoping someone had some original literature.

If you can track the wiring, why not just re wire the way you want the mods?

With a trailer that old there is nothing from the factory that is going to help you. Sorry. Your best bet is get out the VOM and start tracing things. There is a 50/50 chance that some previous owners have buggered with wiring up any how. So your best bet is going to be to strip everything and start over fresh. Terry used to be a great trailer until Fleetwood got a hold of them. My 72 21 footer was a fantastic rig for a young family. Once had 12 people all sitting down to dinner inside. Other times we had the first shower in our group. So every one packed water for showers.

Welcome to the Forum Darrell! My first trailer was a 72 Terry and was the start of my long love affair with towables. I would recommend using the internet for information on any of the existing appliances, as the original paperwork and manuals from Terry wouldn't answer the questions you are asking. Another recommendation is to purchase Bob Livingstons' Trailer Lifes' RV Maintenance & Repair Manual. It's worth it's weight in gold and will save you $ in the long run. Make sure you have a solid floor and check your roof seams. Have fun and again, welcome to the Forum!

Yeah I figure I will have to do quite a bit of rewiring and such. Good thing is the floor is solid as far as I can tell. Getting ready to reseal roof with a rubberized coating and get the old Duotherm looked at to see if she's worth saving. After that it's on to tearing into the inside.

I have SOME of the original manuals from our 76 KIT road Ranger....

I'd bet many of the inside parts and pieces are made by the same folks??

There are a few of us that are currently working on some older rigs and many more that have finished doing so.

PLEASE take pics we like to see them.
