Just got a new 2012 Coachmen Freelander 31DS and looking for the best GPS unit. Considering one of the Rand McNally RVnd 7710. Concerned about the cabover being a problem with reception (for any unit actually). Any suggestions and recommendations are welcome. Thanks.

(perhaps that 'lucky shot' wasn't really luck at all!)
I would be more concerned about my choice of unit, search on here as this unit does not get good reviews, my trucker Garmin has all the campgroumds in it just mixed up in recreation and lodging catagory

We have a Class C and use a Garmin (older model) and never have a problem with the GPS. I understand it's the radio/satellite signal and not a line of site so no worries about the overhead. Same with a Sunpass Toll system used here in Florida - not a issue. We've also look at the Rand McNally but since we have unlimited upgrades on our Garmin we feel at the moment it's an unneeded expense. We use our Garmin in conjuntion with the "Next Exit" and the other book associated with it (forgot the name) and we are golden! Congrads on the new Coachman!!
