I have tried pushing the button to change to 50amp. It read 50 amp before. But now I am definitely only getting 30amp. It tripped my circuit breaker yesterday when I turned on my air, It was the air circuit breaker that tripped yet I still had AC. I am plugged in with the correct 50amp plug. I have had to use my adapter before so I do know I am plugged in correctly.

I am thinking it is an issue with the campsite electric. I am going to check it out with the owners today. Maybe ask some of my fellow campers what they are getting. Just never had this problem before.

Does the above in black tell us that you are using an adapter such as a 50A to 30A adapter to plug into the campground pedestal? If so you may only have 30A service going into your coach...

CORRECT. Whether the CG guy does it, or you ask a fellow camper if they have a voltmeter and would mind helping you for 2 minutes, this will very quickly tell you if there is a problem with the CG wiring of the 50 amp circuit.

Outer straight (hot) to outer straight (hot)= 240 VAC if wired properly. 0 if wired improperly (both hots on same "side" of CG breaker box).

Either outer straight (hot) to center straight (neutral)= 120 VAC

Either outer straight (hot) to center round (ground)= 120 VAC

Center straight (neutral) to center round (ground)= 0 VAC

If all OK, the issue IS with your coach.

If the 30A LED is displayed on your Control Panel, you may need to press the button below the display to change the LED to 50A.

Let us know if this corrects the issue.

Did it ever work correctly at this campsite?

Would it be difficult to move to another site just to test it?

Are any of your neighbors having a similar problem?

And last....have you gone to see any plays?

May not be a stupid suggestion but I assume you are plugged into the camground pedestal with the 4 prongs (i.e. 50A)...

Are the circuit breaker(s) on the camground pedestal all turned on?

OK update. I switched off the breaker and unplugged, then plugged back in, switched on the breaker. Watched my surge protector, Line 1 is ok...Line 2 is not. Yes I have had 50amp at this site until yesterday.

Told the campground worker, and he is going to have the owner come over and check it...NOT my coach YIPPEE Said it might be the plug. SO is going to fix it or have their electric company come out and fix it.

I appreciate all your suggestions. It helped me track down the issue.

No I havent seen any plays lately HA HA I am a Travel Nurse and have been gone for the past 4 years working. I only get home for a week at a time about every 6 weeks so no real time. I have seen some of the plays in the past but not recently. I am working up in the Salem area right now so have gotten home a little more frequently. I am taking the summer off (WAHOO) so maybe will have more time. Altho Camping is on my list of things to do. There is a big difference for me from Living in MH, to camping. I pack all different stuff for camping ie: blender, Mudslide mix, BBQ ha ha instead of laptop, IPAD, stethoscope ha ha

thanks again everyone

It may only be the breaker...
