Thanks guys for all the replys! I think we will do it. any reccomendations on camp areas would be great. Power not necessary. Just fairly easy to get in and out of. I often just try to pull off the road if there is lots of room.
Is there a way to post to the same post or do you do it this way with a new post.

Keep in mind that you cannot spend the night in anywhere but a campground throughout the National Parks. Boondocking at the side of the road is not allowed.
.... a little further north is Jasper and we really enjoy the town, area and the Provincial park. It's more of a laid-back western town rather than upscale Banff but both are nice to see. You can't just "pull off the side of the road" on this parkway. Have a good trip!
