Disco,

Such a shame that you can't enjoy your TC because of these issues.

We are lucky, so far. We have a couple of issues (it's at the dealer now) and Brad is taking care of us. So far, we've heard from him and the dealer, not at all.

I would expect the dealer to fix their shoddy work. I hope that Brad will reconsider your dilemma and correct all issues like they should have been.

Did you not notice these bfore you brought it home? I know things get missed in the excitement of deliivery, and sometimes the dealer just pushes you out the door with a wave and the check in their hand.

Keep us posted on your progress and best of luck.

It was delivered to me in GA. The delivery guy worked for Princess Craft told me it wouldn't be a problem to fix these things. I also emailed the dealer and Adventurer with all the issues immediately. They also assured me I was in good hands.

We've made the best of it. However it took some convincing to get the Wife back in there after the light caught on fire.

Disco,so very sorry for your troubles.i was recently in a similar situation as you find yourself in.hang in there and keep fighting for all you're worth.after exhausting every tool at your disposal you will have to decide whether to :

1.fix it at your expense and keep it (i did)

2.sell it at a huge loss

3.use it as is

it really sucks to spend $$$ for this junk they refer to as campers and sure takes all the fun out of new toys. GLTU

Sorry about your camper, I can only imagine how frustrating that would be. If it were me, I would definitely consult with an attorney.

I went back and read your very first post, regarding your excitement and anticipation. Then to hear that Greg treated you so poorly, I just don't understand it. He was great with me, he answered every e-mail promptly and we chatted several times via phone at great length to assure us about the company and quality.

Regarding the lights...we have found they get REALLY hot and will switch to LEDs ASAP. The reading lamps in the cabover actually get too hot to touch and I'm afraid to use them...so I can feel your wife's fear.

I hope that at some point, your troubles with your TC will be a bad memory and you'll be a happy camper...and an Adventurer fan.

Just a word of advice - and too late in in this case. NEVER, ever take delivery until every item is to your satisfaction.

Never accept: "But the delivery guy said ....."

Now, what to do - fix everything you can fix yourself - keep track of materials and labor hours. Get a repair shop to fix what you can't fix.

Send the detailed bill with photos to Adventurer with all receipts. Do not wait for an answer. File immediately in small claims court. If they pay, drop it, if they don't, your months ahead of the date for court if you do it now.

Disco, does you any local tv channel have an omsbudsman? You know, like a "12 On Your Side" kind of thing. You might check to see. Sometimes a call from a tv channel helps to get a positive outcome, if it's something they might look into for you, it's what they do.

Wow, sorry to hear about your troubles. I would send an email to Brad and let him know about your post on here.. You would be surprised about what can come from a board like this. Also, contact RV action line in trailer life magazine, they do a lot of articles on issues like this and they seem to get resolved.. Maybe due to the publicity. Here is an example of how they helped. At the end of the article it tells you how to contact them. What about lemon laws? I know some states have those? Good luck!

I live near Atlanta. Our Tv stations don't have people like that that I know of. We had Clark Howard, but he's national now. I'll look into it though. Thanks.

Thanks for all the responses y'all. I sure have enjoyed the camper despite all these problems. I just want what I paid for.
