Having trouble with low DC voltage.......
The battery was not in the circuit and added when the problem arose
No difference in the lamp brightness....Looks like maybe 5 or 6 volts have not been able put a meter on it
Anyone else have this problem or is there a solution to this
Your input greatly appreciated
Thanks

If everything was fine until you added the battery, you may want to pull the battery and take it to your local Auto Parts Store and have it tested/replaced. And while you are there get yourself a digital voltmeter so you can take voltage reading for us.

Thanks for your reply
Today I was able to check it out with a meter and a flow chart from the company which shows how to test the unit....
Removed the polarity 30 amp fuses and checked the out put which was a tad over 14 vdc which is ok ....there seems to be something drawing power to cause the 12vdc lights to be at I would is half brilliance...If I pulled the 12v fuses one by one would this help isolate the area to find the problem ???

Not sure if you resolved this but I had the problem on a 2007 Parallax 7300 (same model) I replaced the lower portion with Progressive Dynamic PD4645 and it solved my low voltage problem

I would dump the Magnatek, and get a good 3 stage charger/converter. It will pay for itself in battery savings. Progressive Dynamics is one of the best brands, and made in the USA.
