As some of you know I recently bought a Hensley and was able to take our first trip with it this past weekend. The Hensley performed as advertised and actually better than I would have ever dreamed.I have owned two 5er's in the past and my current TT was as stable and felt more stable than the 5er's. I know some people will find that hard to believe or unbelievable but its the honest truth. I would not believe it myself if I had not seen/felt the stability first hand. (I WILL NOT be useing the 60 day money back guarantee). The CG we went to had 3-4 camping clubs their this past weekend and I saw 4 Hensleys, 2 were on airstreams and 2 were on other brands. I talked to one gentleman that had a airstream and he said that he put the Hensley on after one year of ownership. He had a reece dual cam previously and said there was no comparsion they Hensley was much better(his exact words).I could not believe I saw 4 at one CG that only had about 100 sites. I have been to Ocean Lakes and only seen 1 every now and then.So to sum it up I am one happy camper and it is now safe enough that my DW can resume doing half the driving. Thanks to all for your help in my previous post. Wills250psd.

That's great to hear! Not that I'm surprised.

It's true that lots of people with Airstreams get Hensleys. Same is true of our trailer. Went to an Award rally last fall and probably half or more of the folks had Hensleys. And it's not that those trailers need more help with stability than others, it's that the owners want the absolute best towing experience possible.

Enjoy.

It is so hard to convince someone who has never pulled a TT with a Hensley exactly how much better it is over conventional friction type WD units. Almost to a person, they will insist that their Dual Cam or Equal-i-zer is comparable and will do the job just as good and the extra $$ is not worth the difference.

Those of us who have (and do) however, congratulate you on your wisdom to purchase, install, and use the ultimate hitch for the best pulling experience you'll ever be able to have....not to mention the high level of safety that comes with it.

Good for you.

Congrats. I bought mine in '02, having never towed a TT, but have been behind enough to almost say forget it! I researched the hitches with more intensity than the TT, and got the HA. When I bought my TT, the Dealer put it on free....they had heard about them but never seen one up close. In the five years I had it, I never had a maintenance problem, and it was nothing short of fantastic. Ironic, I mentioned on this Forum I was selling mine, got a PM from a gent who bought it - $500.00 less than I paid for it. Happy trails, your going on safe journeys.

Best purchase you will ever make for a TT. Not just for stability but for you and your families safety.

This is our 3 TT and our Hensley has been moved to each one.

Congrats. Welcome to the hensley family. The old saying you get what you pay for is the best way to describe the purchase.
