The ZT32QB has two bunks on one side, storage in the center, a bunk on the other side with a small dinette under it.
I wasn't familiar with the crossroads brand, website looks interesting. How long have they been around? No dealers in my area. Do you like it? Quality? The large 33BH floorplan is fascinating.

My perfect TT floorplan was a BHDS floor plan . There are lots of similar models but they are generally bigger than your size limits.
You are correct 3 kids need more than sleeping space. They also need their own space to spread out and play vs. playing in the adult space.
I would strongly suggest a floor plan with at least one slide out in the bunk house.
Your 1/2 ton Suburban maybe limiting your selection, I towed with an Excursion. A 3/4 ton vehicle would give you more choices.
I understand a new vehicle may not be in the equation. But be careful to get it right the first time. Compromise often leads to the path of frequent upgrades.
Experience has taught many getting it right the 2nd time always cost more

No matter how many different ways you ask this question, your limitations will still be the same. Some of the TT's listed in this thread might work for you and some will probably be too heavy for you.
What we found was the most helpful to us when shopping for a TT for our family was to go to shows and look around at several different floorplans at one time. We would take notes, get brochures and come home. We would turn this info into a spreadsheet. Across the top would be important features to us (ie type of bunks, # of bunks, size of tanks, weight of TT, tongue weight, couch, etc) down the side we would list the various makes/models that peaked our interest. When we narrowed it down some using the spreadsheet (the TT's that had the most of what we wanted in our weight range), we would go sit in them at the dealer as a family with the doors closed. In the TT we would each act out daily activities (ie I would pretend to cook, DD would play, and DH would sit on the sofa and walk to the bathroom). We would think about where we would put things (ie mom's clothes in that cabinet, pots & pans in this cabinet, kids toys in that drawer etc). These helped us narrow it down to our perfect trailer. The perfect trailer will be different for each family's situation (ie # kids, how much they pack, what they tow it with and how they plan to use the TT).
All that said, we love our Zinger ZT26BL (not the right bunk plan for you) and they have a ZT26BH model that is 30 ft but the GVWR is 7800 lbs and only has a dry weight of 6800 lbs so it may or may not be ok to be towed by a suburban and you will be tight on cargo capacity. I think their Slingshot GT29BH might be a better match than the zinger for you. It has a dry weight of 4032 and a GVWR of 7432 lbs. I highly doubt you will load 3000 lbs of gear into that trailer. A more realistic # is 1500 lbs (average camper loads this) giving it a loaded weight of 5532 lbs. Length is 29'11". Hope this helps you.
Yes, we were contemplating a 1500 Suburban, but I agree with everyone that we should be looking for something stronger. Looking at possibly a F150 EcoBoost w/ max tow or an oldie Excursion. Just trying to work out some details. But yeah, with a 1500, I was eyeing up that Slingshot rig, it looks very nice. It's still on my list!

crossroads has been around for awhile now and are actually owned by Thor. Crossroads is known to have really good customer service. They have entry level and better quality trailers. The entry level is the zinger, the cruiser is their more well known brand and is a higher quality trailer. They also offer a 2 year warranty. Camping world tends to be a big dealer for them. As to liking it, I love my Zinger and didn't see a thing at the last 2 RV shows that I would trade mine in for.
We are in the process of purchasing a Shadow Cruiser 280. Three bunks with a table and seats that turns into another small bed. It's an ultra-light. We will be pulling with a Silverado 1500 V8. This model is a new line under Cruiser RV.

I think the Z-1 has become their new entry-level TT. It only comes with a 1 year warranty. We've had ours for a couple months and so far we love it.
