I used the Harbor Freight lights which were in the sunlight for 3 months this last winter. At the end of the 3 months the wiring became brittle, broke & fell apart. Luckily @ $9.99 I had purchased two sets so switched over to the second set for the last month. The wiring is pretty much junk so think of them as throw away!

Just put diodes in the Jeep's tail lights and don't mess with having to attach/detach/string wires everytime you set up .
Here's one of many sites that carry kits.

Your missing the OP's point. He is looking for some type of portable light because his Jeep lights are being obscured by bike rack and bikes. Lights being obscured will get the attention of a leo and end up with a ticket.
On my Jeep wrangler I also use the magnetic lights and they stick to my bumper and also to some plates that protect my factory tail lights. On our other toad we just screwed some L shaped flat strap to the under side of the bumper and hooked lights to the straps. These remain all the time and the wires are run forward through the grill. When not in use the wires are tucked under the hood.
