We just purchased a fifth wheel with a wireless keypad from Southco. It works with the default code, but I am having trouble changing the user code. The directions say to start by pressing the 9-0 pad for 3 seconds and the lights should flash twice, but nothing happens. Any suggestions?

Customer service thinks I couldn't see the light as the sun was shining. The 5er is at a storage lot so I will try again when it is overcast.
