2003 36T Southwind: TV above the driver area and the connecting cabinets have pulled away from the ceiling. Could not believe this Twith only 22,000 miles of easy driving on this rig. Anyway, the cost from Camping World was $1500 labor and $200 parts mostly wood and screws to "shore" up the problem. The TV is an older model big heavy type and the only other weight is the box for satellite and dvd. Looking for suggestions, or someone who knows some one in my area that may do it for less Temecula, CA
Anyone have any idea how they would install a new flat screen TV in the hole left by removing old T.V. It will be 26 inch HD and would need to be mounted I guess to the bottom but maybe someone makes a wall mount for t.v. Any ideas drawings etc. would be appreciated.
I just bought a Haier 24 inch LED HDTV/DVD combo. I couldn't believe that it was 8 lbs !! (8.8 lbs with the stand). As a nice bonus it runs on a 12V 3amp AC adapter. If I buy a 12V accessory cable with a 3 amp fuse I can run it directly from a 12V power port.

I had a piece of alunimun bent for the new flat screen, bolted on to tv and bottom tray, cost was $2.00 for the home made mount,, Now take all your old screw out of the cabinet's and move the mounting holes an inch either way and re screw it to the ceiling, cost about 1-2 hr of your own labor, you can make some kind of prop to hold the cabinet's up while you put the new screw's in. Just my thought's that's how I did it.ps, junk the old heavy TV.
