I flew to Vegas and to avoid paying Cal tax

Consider it Karma. What goes around comes around.

Who should pay for the tires depends on one thing and one thing only-had the title passed hands yet? If yes, it's your vehicle, your problem. If no, they should pay. And ALWAYS get stuff in writing.

The rules in Calif are a little odd. We are South Dakota residents and bought a rig in Calif. We had to take delivery out of state, also. If you buy a vehicle in Calif and take delivery in Calif, you have to pay Calif sales tax regardless of where you are going to register it. Most dealers know this and work with it all the time.

Did you buy from a private party? That might be why you don't have the original docs. It does take time to get the pink slip from the state.

Just purchased a used motorhome thru Ebay from California...Do I have any recourse besided writing bad reviews regarding as this dealer is regularly on Ebay Motors.

Welcome to the forum Norman. I suggest that you are asking your question in the wrong place. All you are likely to get here is speculation and criticism.

I recommend you try the eBay community pages;

I hope you come back here and become a regular once you get this straightened out.
