In March of this year we purchased out first RV. Its a 2007 Holiday Rambler Savoy 5th wheel. We love it and have been able to get out in it a few times already. Today I'm setting it up at a local CG for the weekend, but when I press the button to operate the slide out nothing happens. The battery is connected and I'm plugged into the 30amp service. I looked in the main power box for a fuse or breaker but nothing seems to be there for the slide out motor. Is there a re-set button on the motor or another fuse somewhere that I might be over looking? I'll be grateful for any help. Thanks.

Not sure about yours, but on my 5'er,there is a breaker in the basement compartment near the battery.Mine is kind of hidden from view. Might also do a quick check to see if you have power to the slide switch. Good luck.

The name/model of your rig and what kind of slide mechanism you have would help us give you better info.

My 2006 Savoy does this from time to time if I pull the slide in just a bit to far. There must abe a micro switch involved. I find if I use the manual crank and give it a few revolutions to start to manually extend the slide, then remove the manual crank and push the button.
This is on the living room slide, have never had a problem with the bedroom slide. Good Luck

You say the battery is connected, but is it fully charged. Slide operate off the battery in most cases and require a good charge to function properly. Check your battery.

put a jumpbox on the battery up front and then try it. If hydraulic slide, the motor and pump are prob. upfront also in the storage compartment. Check fluid level in reservoir, if level is good you may have a bad circuit breaker which should also be mounted in this area near the slide motor. The fluid level should be topped to full only with slide in retracted position which i assume it is now

Ours has a automatic/manual switch. Make sure it's in the automatic position before using the in/out rocker switch.

Just spoke with the dealer (Camping World) where i purchased the RV. The service guy recommended checking the 30 amp breaker from the battery first thing. I'll try that as soon as I can slip away from work.

Our Gulfstream had a relay box mounted inside the front storage compartment on the back side of the wall which divided the compartment from the slide mechanics. I had to remove the cover and push a tiny switch on the side of the relay to reset it. Did the same thing for someone else with the same problem once, too.
