Why am I getting this RV.net error every time I try to reply in a tread? My firewall is not the problem. I get this over and over hour after hour. Can someone explain why this is happening?
The connection was reset
The connection to the server was reset while the page was loading.
The site could be temporarily unavailable or too busy. Try again in a few moments.
If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer's network
connection.
If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure
that Firefox is permitted to access the Web.

The RV.Net portal has been having issues processing certain characters, such as the percent symbol and "smart" quotes. The workaround is to use one of the other portals into the Open Roads Forum.
Yes the portals have problems sometimes. And I too thought it was the forum at first but it is a Firefox problem

But THAT standard pop up error is NOT related to RVnet, it is because the internet signal is low and Firefox kicks you out. It can go on and on. Every time I switch to a new url I have to open Firefox and click on history and the click clear history for it to connect after getting that error once. Found that error fix for firefox on google.
I never had this problem until I switched to Firefox. If its not one thing its another with that browser. If you update you just get more problems.I'm taking my computer in to wipe out every stitch of Firefox and go back to IE.

No problems with using Firefox or Chrome. Try using CTRL+F5 to do a fresh reload of a webpage without using the cache. Works with any of the major browsers.
