As a new RV'er, after two trips, I have found that I don't know anything about RV camping. On a trip back from Florida, we happen to find a great campground in Ashburn, Ga. It was connected to a little nine hole golf course and was very well priced. Great time! Are their anymore of these places? We are planning to go into Virginia, Kentucky, Indiana, and beyound on the first of June so if anyone has info on golf and camp places I would appreciate the info.

don't know about the area you are going, but here in SGa, there are several. Just a little further north of Ashburn, there are two at the same exit (#101) off I75. Ga Veterans State Park has a golf course and Brickyard Plantation, which is a semi-private course and RV park is another 5-7 miles beyond that . Several of the GA state parks have golf courses.

Central Washington (State) is full of small towns with a golf course and RV park combined. Quincy, Warden, Royal City and Harrington are just a few. All with trees, electricity, water and sunshine (it's mostly a desert here despite what you hear about Seattle - 160 miles west across the Cascade Mountains).

Many others have a municipal golf course with RV parks close by.

Camp Coldbrook RV Resort in central MA (Barre, MA) has a nice par 3 golf course attached to the campground.

Check the GA state parks website for golf...about six or eight courses...all very nice, and reasonable fees.

Just a guess but I suspect that more than half the parks have golf courses in Palm Springs. Some 9 some 18. Outdoor Resorts Palm Springs has 27 holes.
