My rv is parked in my driveway and we are getting a ton of ants under the cushion of the cab over bed. I did have a water leak and the walls got wet. Could they be living in the walls? I tried ant traps and raid. We took the bed out but when we put it back in they reappear.

"Home Defense" available at Home Depot and sprayed on every surface that touches the ground .... we've had good luck using that in Fla. However, once they're in, I have no idea other than ant traps. Good luck. Camp on!

Terro Liquid... ants, along with their nest, are history. Big boys like Lowes or Home Depo usually carry it. Might find it at your local hardware store.

One question, are the ants the normal less than a 1/2 inch types or larger ones?
Larger ones could very well be carpenter ants and they are drawn to and nest in wet wood. Once the colony is started drying out won't get rid of them.
We usually use one of the baits that the ants take back to the nest. That way you get the queen and without her the colony dies off.

Is it possible they've got a nest in the BED?

The bed doesnt have ants cause we took the cover off and washed it. I tried the Terro stuff but it isnt working. Im lost on this one. I sprayed Raid last night and went out this morning and there was dead ants with a couple live ones. They are the tiny ants and not carpenter. Thanks for all the replies.

I had ants in my TT and did all of the regular stuff to get rid of them. What I found out much later was that I had water damage inside of the wall. That kept them coming in until the window was resealed and the water damage repaired. If you keep getting the large ants, look for leaks that will keep them coming in .
