Keep the area cool. An anti-histamine might help. In future, apply hydrogen-peroxide as soon as possible to any bite. What kind of ants?
Good luck.

We use this for chiggers (as you may know, these bites are horrible and itch for 2 weeks)

ChiggerEX

Benzocaine is the active ingredient.

A cream with Benadryl will help but it takes some time for fire ant bites to improve. I have a self declared war on fire ants going. I lose most of the time but sometimes I get the upper hand. I hate those things.

No joke here. Use the inside of a banana peel and rub on the bites. Also works for poison ivy, poison oak.

You can also use a hair blow dryer and blow hot air on the bites

That many bites should of had her take some Benadryl. Treat them like any bee sting. .....It don't take but as second and you will have a hundred of the buggars all over you.

We were putting out sod/turf, she picked up a square and they engulfed her all at once in the middle layer of the pallet...
