One of the final warranty issues that is holding us up getting our trailer back is whether or not this is a delamination:

Voltage 3950 fiberglass ripple

There are larger ripples in the fiberglass elsewhere but it's probably more accurate to call them "waves" - they're not as tight together as these. This is directly under the slide for the bedroom dressers.

I've pushed on the bumps and they seem quite solid. I'm wondering is this is an imperfection in the manufacturing of the panel rather than a delam. There has been no sign of water leakage in this area.

What do you think?

Or is it from some kind of stress?

This is really not noticeable unless you're at just the right angle in the right light but I don't want it to develop into a bigger problem.

Hard to tell...but from the picture and the "regular" pattern that I see, I'd guess that what you are seeing is the outline of the framing inside and not delam.
But, then again, I'm not an expert.

This is a classic example of delam...

I'm not an expert but I'd say that is delamination, particularly if it is recent ie. wasn't there when you bought the trailer. If you are under warranty I'd push hard to get it fixed and a new warranty on the repair now rather than risk having to pay out of pocket later. It may not be delamination at the end of the day but why take a chance?

Hard to tell. Sometimes there are variations like that in perfectly healthy RV's. Is it soft at all?

I can't tell from the photo what is going on. But, I don't think I would have accepted the trailer. I've looked at many older trailers, and have a 2002 myself, that has no evidence of ripples like that, so I'm thinking it's some sort of defect.

Very hard to tell if delamination...there are too many trailers for sale to take a chance in my opinion. Perhaps the seller will take to a dealer for explanation. Delamination is a very expensive repair.

It's not soft at all. As far as the rest of the rig goes, if you sight down the side, you can see "waves" but this point is the only one that I call a "ripple".

I'm not selling it. It's the last item on my warranty list. Selling dealer is 1500 miles from here (home) so it's at my local dealer.

Yeah, I haven't accepted it either but it has taken 51 of the 52 weeks of warranty for me to notice it. It doesn't show in any of the photos taken of the rig in the last year except the one I linked to.

It's probably not delamination, but it isn't pretty. The ripples seem a little too close together to be framing members.
One way you can tell delamination is to tap on the filon with the back of a screw driver. It will sound solid and sharp and then hollow and thud on the delamination areas.
