Hi,

we have had our tt since 2010 and now think its time for it to have wheel and brakes checked etc. Camping world offers a 45 pt. inspection along with brake and packing of wheel barings . Just wondered if we should go here or check somewhere else for routine maintence ?

Why not? I had good service from them on a previous trailer...slide topper installed.

If it was CW near me, I would run the other way and take it to my local trailer shop that specializes in axles, or do it myself.

I would give them a try it couldn't hurt to get that 45 point check too

If it dosn't go well then you have an open forum to express your concerns, the CEO listens and addresses any problems quickly from what I have seen here, sometimes I think he never sleeps.

If it all goes well and you like it come back and tell us how it went, a win win as I see it.

I have had a lot of work done at my local CW in So Cal.and have been very happy with the service and the people. Don't let the CW bashers
detour you if you think it is a good deal go for it.I would.

Some are good, some are not. Do what you would do with any dealer, check them out and see if the are worthy of your business.

remember your RV is not in for service but in for profit; Theirs.
But you have to have someone service it, why not see what type of job they do. I wouldn't drive 50 miles out of the way though.

Go for it. They are not rebuilding an engine or transmission. They will be doing a safety check looking to sell you stuff. Which isn't always bad. A brake job on a trailer is fairly basic mechanic'n. This way you will know should you need other work done.
