First off you picked a great toad as 4x4 Cherokees are about as easy to setup as they come. I opted for a Blue Ox baseplate, since that's the tow bar I've had for 15 years, and Blue Ox is an outstanding company. I'd also suggest getting wireless magnetic lights versus running sperate wire and blubs. I'll never go back to that after purchasing my light set. Brakes are a hotly debated item on this forum, so I'd suggest some more research on that point. Good luck!

Appreciate the posts. Robert, since my original post I went ahead and made an appointment to have a Blue Ox baseplate, towbar and a light set that they tells me goes inside the lens of my rear lights but is completely independent from the lights of the jeep. Is that what you are talking about. It might not be too late to change. Also, I would like to start my research regarding brakes by soliciting your opion, since you are familiar with the Cherokee. Thanks in advance for any comments.
