Question here, want to upgrade my pin box due to some road effects. Been looking at the mor/ryde and one called Trailair king pin box. I know the mor/ryde moves front to back and should help with some chucks and jars but what about the Trailair? anybody have one? Any advice for me. Price wise the Mor/ryde is the cheapest and I'd have to get a capture plate as well. Have a superglide and using a multi-fit plate now. Pin box is a lipp1116. Thanks guys.

Old saying " You get what you pay for" I bought a Trailer Saver. I don't honestly think you can buy a better hitch. The hitch rides on air bags and the BD3 also has shocks. I have the TS3. Expensive but worth every penny. Check Hensley.com. I have read were some people have used the Mor/ryde and the Hensley Trailer saver. I really think that is overkill but what the hay, it's your money.

I went the MorRyde route and it's a BIG improvement over solid. The next time I will spend the coin and do the TrailAir TriGlide. Up and down and forward and back.

I have also researched both the Mor Ride and the TrailAir. After the research I`ve done and the recommendation of a good friend of mine, I will be ordering a TrailAir box. He has hauled his 5er all over the US and twice to Alaska with it, and won`t leave home without it. I know there may be better alternatives out there, but for the price minded folks like myself...the TrailAir seems like a great value.

I have a Trail Air Roto Flex pin box on my Columbus. It made a WORLD of diffrence with the towing as compared to my other stock pin box. It is similar to the Mor-ryde design.

The other is the Trail Air Tri Glide Air Ride. Much more fancy, and much more expensive. I have heard it does a great job in isolating the chucking and improving the towing.

I guess it boils down to how much do you want to spend?

I installed a 5th Airborne air cushioned pin box. Somewhat similar concept to the Trailair except the air bag is inside the box and protected. I did not have a lot of chucking to begin with, but the 5th Airborne eliminated virtually all of what I did have. Plus it softens the ride of the trailer and that softens the ride of the truck. Definitely worth the money in my opinion.

I have the TS3 Trailersaver & MorRyde pin box, Money well spent, wouldn't tow without it, I also have the MorRyde "IS" suspension system, Nothing but Smooth towing.

I have the Trail Aire Tri Glide on order and am anxious to get it bolted on. Hope it fixes the rather bad chucking I'm getting. Found a relatively good deal on one (assuming its delivered) $1,250 with freight from etrailer.com.

Again, I don't have it yet. Ordered it May 29th, at which time they said it should ship within 7 days. I called etrailer.com June 5th, and they said the manufacturer won't ship until June 11th, then etrailer will have to ship it to me since Trail Aire doesn't ship direct. I'll be lucky to get it before we leave on our trip out west June 21st.

Apparently the manufacturer builds these when the order is received. At least the steel won't be stale, lol.
