...Sprinter's particularly. The rapper TI travels around Atlanta with his kiddos in a black Sprinter and JZ/Beyonce use a black Sprinter to move themselves and their little one around NYC.
These images are readily viewable on TV and print and the 'net.
Watch wannabe's get a black Sprinter so as to travel around like the stars. Might be a good time to sell a B of any type as the hipsters have sent the message a Sprinter is cool.
Sprinter's may become the new limo, besides being a nice way to travel with a brood.

Can't imagine anyone that would "wannabe" either of those folk.

I get that. It's about B's becoming high profile while seen as basic transportation. They are suitable vehicles for folks who can buy their heart's desire. It is interesting black sprinters might be bling worthy, lol.
I'm making note from a sellers perspective. When this fuddy duddy sees a trend, it's got legs and frankly, is old news.

Sounds like the end of "Get Shorty" where everyone is driving mini vans.
For those that never saw it, John Travolta is stuck with a mini van rental in Hollywood. The clerk called it the "Cadillac of mini vans"

Exactly, belairbrian.
The free advertising for the Sprinter is a windfall. Big wide cross culture exposure. Once the B is more generally seen as a daily driver, especially for families or retirees, the sales surely will pick up. Maybe used B's will more easily fit the budget.
B's, they're not just for camping!

I don't think my 1985 B will ever be a status symbol.
In fact last week when I was sitting at a light the guy next to me in a pick up said so I could hear it "Look at that old piece of junk". I just calmly replied to him "Junk huh, I wonder what that Toyota you are sitting in will look like in 27 years."

These movie stars are probably given and/or paid to drive these "in cars" around. Cheap advertising for Sprinter. Look we are talking about them.

Yep we're all over this, but we use a small Limo Bus instead for Family affairs and cruising Walmart parking lots.
