I ordered 10 of these C:US:3160&vxp=mtr">48 LED panel on June 2cd and received them today. I couldn't wait for the sun to drop to test them out.

They are as bright or a bit brighter than the original bulb and the color is close. You can see the difference here but it is harder to tell at full exposure. LED panel is on right.

I installed this one first and after a half hour it wasn't hot yet

Here the panel is above the stove and the regular bulb is above the sink. The frosted plastic of the hood light is dimming the LED some.

Hopefully these last as I am really happy with the output and color. One per fixture is enough for us. I also ordered ten of these for use in some of the fixtures for dimmer lighting. C:US:3160">9 lED bulbs but even though I ordered them within minutes of the panels they will get here tomorrow.

The seller I used no longer has these, here is a link to pick the 48 LED panels up for 10 for $17.99 clicky
I have purchased and tested these and they are near identical to the first panels I bought last year.

I ordered a couple of those to test with on the 6th, someone else had posted about them and had good things to say. I will likely be replacing the majority of my current lights with these LED's if they work as well as they look.

Thank you for the replies.

The only thing left to see is longevity but so far I am thrilled. I could have replaced every light in the TT with panels for $53, that would have been a few bulbs at the dealer. It will be so nice to be able to use the house lights again while boodocking.

When installing the little white plus adapters I found that if I put a small bulge in the contact wire that they worked well. Just leaving them flat on the plug didn't work at all. I cleaned the reflecting plate with denatured alcohol so the backing on the panel would stick.

I saw this thread and ordered one to test with. Have you installed any outside LED's? I would like to do that also...

I want to find something even brighter for the little orange porch light. It uses the same bulb as the inside fixtures and doesn't light up the site farther than the awning, so a panel with the same brightness wouldn't do any better aside from not draining the battery down.

I noticed this posting at the bottom of the page on the sellers web site that these could be factory seconds. Quote "New other (see details): A new, unused item with absolutely no signs of wear. The item may be missing the original packaging, or in the original packaging but not sealed. The item may be a factory second, or a new, unused item with defects. See the seller’s listing for full details and description of any imperfections. See all condition definitions- opens in a new window or tab" Unquote

Did you notice any defects?

Not so far, or at least none that I would know enough about to know they are there. They are all in individual cellophane envelopes, a panel and set of connectors. The only labeling is a small ID sticker.

Right now I need to go check and see if the other ten packs are here.

Those are great! I replaced all the lights in my TT with them. Got them on Ebay also for $2.79 ea free shipping http://www.ebay.com/itm/320846428929

The only issue I've had is the 3m double sided adhesive gives out after awhile. A few dabs of silicone to hold them in solves the problem.

Thanks U.P.

How long have you been using them?
