What would you go with, the Flojet portable or the Sani-con portable?

I require one and would like some suggestions. Will be pumping into holding tank in the back of the truck about 25 ft away.

Nothing sucks more than that moment during an argument when you realize you're wrong.

I have a Flow Jet and it works great. I used it to pump to a septic about 75' away.

The point is moot, Mootpoint...

...either will do the job.

I went with the Flojet. I found one on eBAY for much less than retail. (I was going to say, "for a resonable price"...but none of these are priced resonably)

You can also find their specs online, for comparison. I think the Flojet specs are...

Up to 50' with 3/4" hose or 25' with 5/8" hose

Sanicon appears to have a 21' hose attached...can't find their specs anywhere...

None of the sanicon selling points are important to me...grey water bypass? What?

I like the Flojets handheld switch. I installed a water resistant outlet on the frame rail of my camper...with 12VDC...just for the Flojet.

I pull it out and connect it to the camper, plug it in, attach the hose, pull the dump handle, start my quickee flusher going...

Then just sit back in a lawn chair, holding the remote switch in one hand and a cold beer in the other. Turn the pump on...let it pump until it's just about to start cavitating...stop...let the quickee flush accumulate more water...and repeat. Do the grey last...it's just a matter of emptying the tank. Since I'm PUMPING 90' thru 2" pvc...I hardly need to bypass grey water. I need to pump it!

We have used a Flojet at our family camp area for 3 years. Some holiday weekends we pump out 6-7 RVs into the septic system. Like being able to use a 3/4 dedicated hose on it. Don't know anything about the the Sani-Con

Another option would be to build your own Macerator Pump.

My Flojet pumps 100' on a slight uphill grade through a 3/4" hose with no problems.

We have the sani-con and it does the job, use it a few times a year at a state park with no hookups. I use mine to pump into a blue tote and then take the tote to the dump station works well. I think when i purchased it I went with the sani-con because it came with a hose and handle at the discharge end but thats no big deal. I think you had to buy hoses for the flowjet . Either will work. After I empty my three tanks with the two gray tanks being the last I rinse the tote at the dump station and bring it back with clen water and hook the pump to the tote and run the clean water throught the pump and hose to clean it out . The remote switch would be nice on the flojet. I made a long cord and connect the sani-con to my battery compartment when I use the pump, the sani-con has a switch at the pump which can make it a two person job if you use all 20 feet of the hose because you need to hold the handle in my case at the tote.

I bought a flowjet when I found it on sale and ended up putting a 1" hose for my 100' run... works great.
