My dog chewed through the wiring that goes to my holding tanks from the control panel. Now I don't know which colors go to which sensors. Does anyone know how this is wired up or maybe an easy way to trace down the wire to figure out which is which?

Thanks

you'll have to check the wires with an ohm meter. take a pair at at time and twist the cut ends together, if there is no resistance on the other end you have the correct pair.

Another way it to put a 9 volt battery on the end of a pair of wires and check at the meter for voltage.

Funny you said the dog chewed the wires up, a friends dog ripped out the wires for the tail/turn/brake lights while camping, not much wire left to patch things up, but he made it work to get home.

you should be able to pop the face off the control panel (not sure if you have the hood vent panel or not) and kinda trade the colors from there. You may need to scrape paint on the wires at the tank. You didn't say what year and model of WW you have, that might help.

My first rig had all white wires to the tank sensors, you'd have to trace via a conductivity test on those.

I think I've got it figured out. I just have to put some new connectors on. After cleaning up the wires as suggested I was able to see what colors they are. Two tanks are unharmed and they are in the same color/order. I'm going to copy the same order and see if it works. Thanks for the help.
