The campgrounds ask that we have this when we are hooked up. I'm a little confused and want to clarify if I need to get something different from what I already have.
I just bought the Rhino sewer kit:

So do I STILL need a donut?
Something like this?

or this:

Thank you.

Doesn't look like you need a donut with what you bought. It will fit tight enough.

Yes, if they require it, you will need one like this. Should be able to get it at Wally World, though. 99 times out of 100 they won't check, but if you get caught without it, they can kick you out if that's what their rule says.
The main thing the donut does is it ensures a tight seal around the connection, and helps make sure the end doesn't come out of the swear hookup when you pull the lever and the stuff rushes out.

I think the Rhino you have will suffice. The only advantage the rubber ones have is they do wedge in the sewer pipe making an air-tight seal...not sure if the Rhino seals as tightly.

Some sewer openings will not have threads. In this case, the donut will make an air tight connection.

It doesn't. I have the same one and everywhere I've been it's still a little loose in there.

Thanks. Is there another word for it? Instead of a donut? I tried to find it at the local Wally World but they didn't have it. I might just get it from Amazon, but only found ONE style and it had 1 star. We are leaving Saturay, so we kinda need one!
Thanks!

Are you near a Camping World or other RV Dealer? Or traveling by one? They are $5 at CW. If you can't get one for Saturday, I wouldn't sweat it too much!

Most any rv parts store (rv dealer) will have one and I bet that the campground that requires one has them for sale. In many years of camping, we have not been required to use a donut but a very few times, but it is a small inexpensive item and if needed, it it really worth it to carry one with you.
