How about you couldn't pay me to own a diesel of any kind!!!!! That's a great story!
I don't really care who wants to drive a diesel, who wants to swap a diesel for another diesel or who wants to drive a gasser.
Why are you trying to set a record for how many threads you can start and get closed in a short period of time?
I really care about this forum, this is NOT a diesel or a gasser only forum. This is a Tow Vehicle forum.
Your threads are getting closed for a reason. On the other thread you mentioned that you were active on some diesel forum. That's all fine and good but wouldn't you find it somewhat disrespectful if I came on your diesel forum spouting stuff about how great my V10 is?
We have people who come to this forum to get help with all kinds of tow vehicles from cars and minivans to small suv's to half ton's to HD gassers and diesels. There is room for all here.
So a real question for you is what is your real purpose here?
Thanks,

Thanks,
Thanks for spending your time to tell me you don't like my thread.
If you don't like the subject look at others that appeal to you.
Start your thread about what interests you.
There are people like you that don't care about Diesel trucks like you and there people that don't like gas trucks so I kept it seperate for people like you that don't like Diesel trucks.
I personaly don't complain to people about what threads they start and I don't look if the title does not interest me.
I think if you read all of the posts on the cancled thread there was a lot of good information and no bashing. Several thought there would be.
So go start a thread of your own that interests you.
Thanks for your post.

Well, lets see.
1996 2500 Cummins Ram - UNDERPOWERED 12 valve engine so traded for:
2001 2500 Cummins Ram - 5 speed manual, got tired of rowing gears, and really could have used an extra gear. So traded for:
2003 3500 Chevy Duramax dually - injector troubles, filling up crankcase with diesel fuel. traded for:
2006 3500 Cummins Ram dually - 6 speed manual, forgot how tired I got rowing the earlier manual., so traded for:
2011 Powerstroke Ford 350 dually. Automatic of course.
So I've covered all three. All have good points, with the 2003 Chevy and 2006 Dodge being the best of the bunch so far. The Chevy repaired under warranty, so no problem there, and the 2006 Dodge was flawless save for manual 6 speed.
The 2011 Ford is still so new that have not yet decided on this one, although creature comforts and features in this truck put all the older ones to shame.

I've got one better than that. Went from a 1998 Dodge Diesel, auto, to a 2000 Ford V-10 motor home. Got tired of being riped off every time I went to gas station. And now I'm really glad I don't own a diesel truck at all. Fuel pricing, diesel fuel .40 to .50 higher then unleaded per gallon in my part of the planet.

A senior member and just joined this month? Reminds me of a recent joke. Why is talk cheap? Because supply exceeds demand. Also, if I put the over rated Amsoil top to bottom in my rig I could spell it correctly after looking at all those bottles.
That aside, I think it's a valid question and I will read the responses.

I like Ram because of the Cummins and there price. I really like the looks of the GM products (both Chevy and GMC) and there powertrain combination but I don't like how proud GM is of there products, if they were a little more negotiable a GM heavy duty would be in the driveway instead of my Ram. As far as Ford goes....are they still around ??
