Is is feasible to see El Paso using Las Curces as a base for a couple of weeks next winter?

Anything is feasible it's a 45 mile drive one way on interstate 10.

Depending on traffic, it's going to take at least an hour to make the drive one way. IMO, I would look for something closer.

Don't scrap it too fast. Depending on what you are doing you may find more to do and see in Las Cruces than El Paso. El Paso also does not have a great selection of RV parks to choose from unless you are eligeable to stay at Ft Bliss Fam Camp. For a couple of weeks, unless you are commuting to El Paso every day, Las Cruces is, IMO, a far better place to stay.
