If your larger Onan has a waveform as corrupted as the Microquiet, you'll never get the full output out of a PD converter. Your only choices would be to use an inverter generator for charging, or use a converter that will provide its full output with lousy incoming power. A WFCO will do this, and I'd expect there are others.

Something is a little off about this? Where were you measuring voltage? If the PD was in boost, you should have seen at least 14.2 on shore power.

A question as well regarding the low output from the PD when running off synchronous gensets..... Will it harm the converter?
