You cite the only shootout that supports your brand loyalty. Those who want the facts will make the small effort to find and read every word of all the shootouts, and will find the GM consistently dominates.
And this isn't brand loyalty, as I have a Ford as well as a GMC.

Did I not write this.

Please tell me which brand I'm loyal to. Are you kidding me, supports my brand loyalty? Even if I was loyal to Dodge, it was pretty much a knock down of the Ram in that test.
I guess your 6pak has spoken.

Any klutz with enough time can make up accounts and links to support whatever they say.

I am waiting for the likes of the above kind to prove that their engine can run on mozzarella cheese (Cummins), or Sushi for the Duramax.

But then the Fords, I heard, run on Tacos.

NewsW,

The Duramax, the Allison, and the GM truck they're put in runs on "steak and lobster" and that's as "American as it gets" because that is where they are/were designed and are built by American workers. Yup, here in the good old U.S. of A. Unlike the other two you have cited. GM soley owns Duramax, it's designs, data, and all rights and builds them in Moraine, Ohio a suburb of Dayton, Ohio.

However, I did enjoy your humor in your post. Si

Ah, the typical fodder to sort through here to get to the subject of the thread from the typical fodder providers....

I am surprised you didn't gain any mpg, really surprised. That would be the first one I have heard of that didn't gain any mpg after the delete was done.

Never got better than 14ish with my 2008 6.7 no matter how I drove it. Ended up with a 2011 Chev 2500 6.6 crew cab and get anywhere from 15-17.5. I do live in the mountains and don't dog it. Lot better than the 8 towing and 12 MT in my 6.0 2500 Chev. Usually 11ish towing.

My son would be delighted to see 14 on his 2008 6.7 running empty, he gets lousy mileage, sure glad I hung on to my 7.3

I was told that my MAP sensor needs to be cleaned and that could help. I like the way truck runs and sounds but was hoping for better mileage. I'll keep you posted!

14 running empty? That sucks. Tow/haul, sounds great. I know this forum has a ton of ram goofy boys on it but honestly ram mileage just blows.

I have a 2011, F250 with the dreaded 6.7L, 3.55 gear, running stock height and 20" wheels. Running empty on combined highway/city driving with some traffic, I routinely get about 20+ mpg on average. This can range from 18 - 24 though with circumstances. Towing 10,000 lbs around with the truck loaded up, we see anywhere from 10-15 mpg, usually towards the lower end.
