I picked up some generic stuff at a local store and sprayed it on after I wiped off the grease, kind of runny though. I'll check it again, might take a couple of coats. I hope this works because cleaning them every couple months is a real PITA.

Thanks Jeff.

NONE of the anti corrossion sprays are perfect, just better than nothing. I dis-like them because they are so messy, but don't like having problems while were supposed to be having fun.

If it won't start, does it have another starter switch on the Genny and did you try it there ??
Mine would not start from inside, I went outside and removed the Genny cover and the switch was stuck from all the dust, cleaned it up and it started from there. I then unplugged the wire harness and cleaned it with contact cleaned and plugged it back in, now it works from either switch.
Good Luck

I had to pull mine on my WW because it wouldnt start. I cleaned all the cables even added an extra 2/0 Ground still no start. After I pulled the genny out and pulled the cover I spun the fly wheel by hand then tried to start it and it fired right up. I think for some reason I tried starting it with dead batteries and it locked it up some how?? I put it all back together and never had a problem again. It had over 1200 hours on it when I sold it......

Good Luck D....

Another good service provider in L.A. area is Oliphant's in Van Nuys. Larry is the owner and I've known him for many years. Not cheap but VERY fair and does excellent work, he is authorized Onan repair facility.
