Is there a more efficient, lower power consuming 15K but A/C than the Duotherm that comes standard with most 5th wheels?

I would be interested in finding one that can be run on a Yamaha 2400 generator.

What about going with an efficient 13.5 replacement and then add a 9.2 or smaller in the bedroom?

This would add several benefits.

Yeh, I'd sure like to see the net btu ratings on these lousy RV AC's! They are terribly inefficient. Low air flow/high DT - strong on the latent load and weak on the sensible load. I need to take some time and call some of the mini-split mfgs and see if they have anything for an RV. I've put some in at work and they are nice - decent seers and so quiet, you can't hear them. Heatpump? No idea, just throwing out the idea.
I'm thinking about changing mine to a 15k heatpump.

Has the heat pump techlogy (sp) really improved to the point that the system can be used in RV's?

I know the basic principles of the heat pump, but can anyone provide a explantion on how they work in a RV?

Why do I always get an error message when I use the Spell Check feature?

It says to restart and still nothing happens.

I would not get a Dometic heat pump. Have one on my trailer and in the heat position it vibrates the cabinets. Dealer has been working with Dome tic to fix the problem and so far all they are willing to do is to put softer grommets on the compressor.

105,

I don't believe spell check has ever worked here. If you are using Internet Explorer download IESpell. Works great.
