We are in Key West and it is pouring down the rain outside. The bed is stuck in the up position. Get R Done has gotten out in the rain with his trusty wrench trying to fix the mechnism. We will be sleeping sitting up, because he couldn't get it fixed. Does anyone have an idea as to what might be wrong. It is not electrical.

Check for obstructions under & behind the bed. Then if you don't have the printed owner's manual, go to the RT website, look up your model's manual, and see if there's a way to let it down by hand.
How are you sure it's not electrical?

Do you have power (12V and / or 110V)?
Have you checked fuses?

If you're not on shore power, I suspect your coach battery is way down. That would account for both issues. But the bathroom vent may just be a matter of the thermostat being set too far up, if it's got one.
