There are people who've never been shot at that have used cardboard protection for decades. Therefore it must work great! Great commercial! Thanks for posting.

I'll be sure and tell my 1991 Nissan Truck (sold to a friend) that now has over 350,000 miles that I shouldn't have used a Fram filter for every oil change...

Purolator calling Fram black!

Fortunately, for my application, Fram just remarkets the OEM filter.

Fram filters destroyed their fair share of Dodge/Cummins diesel engines by having filter media plug the piston cooling nozzles.

But lots of people are bragging about how they can buy $5 filters everywhere with one of them Cummins and how it only needs 5 quarts of oil in the toy grade engine.

The medium duty version doesn't let people get away with child sized oil sumps...

Fact, Cummins engines in the RAM pickups and cab and chassis are duty cycle rated at 350,000 miles. The other two are rated for 250,000.

Ny 2011 HO Cummins has 12 qt capacity.

Fleetguard (cummins filtration company) filters LF16035 Stratapore are $14 at GENO'S GARAGE . COM They are the very best Quality for the Cummins engine.

But Mr News already has 250,000 on his and is headed upward towards 300,000 in his 6.0 PoSD success story. Course his is the toy grade motor with 235hp/440tq, not like it has enough power to tears itself up.

Fram has been out of business for 25 years due to selling******filters.

The old husband tales can get deep.

Fram must be putting the hurt on Purolator for them to cut such an ad.
