8- Never bought a motorcraft branded filter for my truck. Buy one that is made by the company that makes the Ford filters. ie. Fram. Cheaper that way.
I was talking about the diesel filters. Ford has a patent on their diesel filters for the 6.0, 6.4 and 6.7 diesels. There is a valve built in for high pressure. Any other make filter can't have this valve so a lot of your oil goes unfiltered through the hole. If you blow your motor under warranty Ford will not stand behind the warranty if you don't have the "proper" filter. And the filters are made by Racor .
Blowing up your motor to save a few dollars really isn't worth it.

*Walking to the back of the PUP without the rear stabilizers down"
That is not funny, Ok... it is... and when you are by yourself it is even funnier trying to get back out of it. I have the t-shirt.

It's especially fun at 4:30am when the guy sleeping on the tongue was who went to bed first and finally had to go out for whatever.

I wonder who watched me take out a pine tree at Rocky Top RV Park in Virginia in May. First time I ever used my awning! Had to have it repaired the next day... I felt pretty dumb then.
LOTS of people watched me take out a restaurant awning and put a big hole in my MH in Troutville, Virginia. Feeling dumb???? You betcha!!!
Am I mentioned here already? Could be, LOL!

All people do some stupid things at one time or another. DH and me have surely made our share of stupid mistakes. It seems to me that a lot of folks like to comment on other people being stupid or dumb far too often. That makes me wonder why?

I hope you pulled over and let the faster traffic pass!
Last fall I had the Aliner in the driveway. I hooked up to move the Aliner into the garage and forgot it was plugged into shore power. Yep, damaged the cord.

LOL. You can read your posts 10 times and still miss things. See, I just did something stupid too.
6.4 mpg and sometimes I could make it up the mountains at 20 mph and Believe me I did pull over.

So I want to be a charter member of the "Twenty Year Old Death Traps Across America" club. My first Pop-up was a 1983 bought in 2000, not quite 20 but looked it. My next one was a 1990 bought in 2007, best one I ever had. I just bought a 1999 in September....everything was falling apart or broken on it. I fixed everything and now have moved onto my next project. A 1992 Ford Intervec Falcon 190. Do I qualify??
But back on topic. I saw a guy try to pull out of a rally a few weeks back with both of his slides open and try to speed out of a lot with 75+ MHs in it....SERIOUSLY?? As my friend said today....thats why there are Darwin Awards...
